Unfortunately, it's not 'considering' in our area. Our local Walmart, which is where I get an awful lot of fabric, has ripped out all of their fabric displays. Which absolutely sucks. (All the other Walmarts in the general vicinity, I've heard, have done the same.)

Unfortunately, I think Walmart is evil and refuse to shop there, so I won't be signing that petition. Plus I work at JoAnn's. ;)

Oh, don't get me wrong. I absolutely prefer the selection at JoAnn's, but the nearest one is over an hour away. My roommate & I make forays down to Evansville to visit their selection of fabric stores at least once a month, but sometimes, it's nice to be able to pick up notions or such while getting groceries in town.

*snugs* Hope things are going well for you.

Yeah, the Fabric Dept. is the only reason I'll go into a WalMart.
And as my husband put it, if they close the Fabric Dept. then the mutants that frequent the WalMart will migrate down the row to JoAnne's and make my shopping there unpleasant...
